Which Cartier Sunglasses Suit Your Face Shape?
Cartier's sunglasses in current stock run from $502 to $2,508 across 91 pieces. All but one shape here is angular: square, rectangle or geometric. The exception is the CT0595S Cat Eye, the only curved rim on offer, and that single distinction settles most of the face-shape conversation before we even take a tape measure to your face.
How to check your face shape in two minutes
Trace your outline in a mirror with your hair pulled back. A round face curves softly with width and length close to equal. A square face carries a strong jaw and a forehead of similar width. An oval face runs longer than wide, with no single dominant angle.
We walk every customer through this before we touch a frame. A curved face reads better against straight brow lines and defined corners, because the contrast adds structure the face lacks on its own. A jaw-led face softens under a curved rim, since the curve takes the edge off angles that are already there. An oval face rarely needs correcting, so width against the temples matters more than outline.

What lens width tells you before the frame arrives
Lens width, the horizontal measurement across one lens, is the best number for judging fit: under 50mm is small, 50 to 54mm medium, 55 to 58mm large, 59mm and up oversized. Without that number to hand, a frame should sit about as wide as the widest part of your face, and no wider.
Go wider and the frame slides down your nose with the temples splayed. Go narrower and it presses on the sides of your head and leaves marks. Compared on list price alone, from our current inventory checked 03 September 2026, the CT0439S Square at $2,508 is our highest priced piece here and the CT0357S Geometric at $764 the lowest, and price tracks finish and material, not shape. Choose the shape for your face first, then let price decide the finish.
Which Cartier shape fits round, square and oval faces
A round face is usually flattered by an angular outline, and a square or strong jaw by a curved one. Among current Cartier stock, the CT0595S Cat Eye is the only curved rim; everything else here, from the CT0439S Square to the CT0357S Geometric, is angular.
That angular group, straight top lines and defined corners, cuts across the soft curve of a round face and reads longer and narrower: the CT0439S Square, CT0550 Square, CT0426 Square, CT0244 Square, CT0577S Rectangle and CT0330 Rectangle all qualify, alongside the CT0474S and CT0616S Geometric styles. A square or strong-jawed face wants the opposite effect, and the CT0595S Cat Eye's upswept line is the one frame here built to soften rather than repeat that angle. An oval face has no dominant line to correct, so nearly any of these shapes work; width against the temple decides comfort, not outline.

Which Cartier sunglasses suit a round face?
A round face is usually flattered by angular lines, and most of our current Cartier stock is square, rectangle or geometric, including the CT0439S Square and CT0577S Rectangle. The CT0595S Cat Eye, our only curved-rim style, is better suited to a square or strong-jawed face.
Which Cartier sunglasses suit a square or strong jawline?
Look for the curve. The CT0595S Cat Eye is the only frame in this range built on an upswept line, which softens hard angles instead of repeating them.
What is the most affordable Cartier sunglasses model at Opti Plaza?
The CT0357S Geometric Sunglasses, priced at $764, is the lowest priced sunglasses style in the current Cartier range here.
Does Opti Plaza ship Cartier sunglasses worldwide?
Yes. Opti Plaza ships worldwide, fully insured, on every order.
Are the Cartier frames at Opti Plaza genuine?
Every pair is 100 percent authentic and comes with the brand's original case and papers.
Can Opti Plaza fit and adjust Cartier sunglasses to my face?
Yes. Opti Plaza is a dispensing opticians, so every frame is adjusted and fitted by an optician.
How do I know if a Cartier frame is too wide for my face?
Check it against the widest part of your face. A frame wider than that slides down your nose, and one narrower presses on the sides of your head.
